From Left to Right holding a check in the amount of $6000 from TANA members and other Tennesseans who so generously contributed to the Landstuhl Wounded Warrior Ministry Center:

  • CH (MAJ) Wieslaw Dynek
  • LCDR Debra Diaz, CRNA
  • LT Gail Weeber, RN
  • LTC Dan McKay, Chief CRNA
  • CH (MAJ) Eric R. Meyners

The Tennessee Association of Student Nurse Anesthetists (TASNA) began an initiative that was supported by students at five anesthesia schools in Tennessee to raise funds very quickly for the Wounded Warrior Fund that provides comfort, basic necessities, and encouragement to the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and their families that must go to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and Ramstein Airforce Base.  Landstuhl is a beacon of healthcare for America’s servicemen and women abroad.

We are very proud of our students and their commitment to this project chaired by TASNA Representative Todd Giesecke from The University of Tennessee - College of Nursing, Nurse Anesthesia Concentration.
